Prayer is the very breath of God that sustains our life in Christ. Prayer is not just rehearsing a list of wants to the Father. It is a dialogue with the creator of the universe that enables you to access, discover and walk in authority that was yours from the foundation of the world. Prayer is to be our life and not just a time we delegate during the week. Adam lived by his conversations with the Father and walked in confidence as he demonstrated his authority in his everyday life! Jesus confirmed this by quoting Moses, “Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the Father.”

Scripture is clear in describing many different kinds of prayer for specific purposes. The Bible is also clear that we who believe are God’s ambassadors or agents that represent Him on the earth. The heaven of heavens is for God, but he put us in charge of the earth. Psalms 115:16 “The Message”

Therefore we have a responsibility to represent Him, not only in what we do, but in what we say! Death and life are in the power of the tongue,… Proverbs 18:21 As has been said, “History is in the hands of the Intercessors.”

At Flame of Fire we believe that we are not only to pray, but we are also to be prayer. In other words, “Faith without works is dead!” After years of being involved in the prayer movement we realize there is a time to pray. There is no greater power given to us as sons of God than to speak forth the word of God on His behalf. But we have also discovered that we must embody those prayers by becoming the change that we want to see! Not only will we pray for our government, but we will raise up men and women to become leaders in our government. Leaders who will represent Christ with integrity, character and purpose for every walk of life.

It is time for God to be carried into every mountain or sphere of our society. This would include religion, government, the family, the arts and entertainment, business, media, and education. The good news of the gospel is not for Sunday morning only, but for every moment of every day.

The Kingston House will endeavor to use all kinds of prayer for the building of His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. We especially will target our government and Hollywood with our prayers. If ever we needed to pray it is now! Just as important it is time to BE what we were created to BE!
