School of the Spirit

The religious idea that God only uses Pastors or those with theological training must be destroyed. It has handicapped the body of Christ and severely hindered the Church from reaching the world with the good news.

The School of the Spirit originated from a vision to equip the body of Christ through teaching and impartation that prepares every person to do the work of the ministry, both in the church as well as the work place.

The courses that are offered require more commitment than that of a general Bible study. Emphasis is placed on practical application rather than a letter grade. A certificate of completion is given to all students that fulfill the requirements of the class in which they are enrolled. The Lamad (Hebrew) method of teaching is used rather than the traditional Greek style of teaching. The purpose is to prepare each person to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit as “sons of God.”

You are not required to attend Flame of Fire Covenant Church to participate in the School of the Spirit. Our vision is to build the kingdom of God by instructing people from our region, releasing them to strengthen the body of Christ where they are called to minister. We soon hope to release e-teachings and curriculum that will benefit those from the nations.

There is a cost to the courses based on the required textbooks and teacher fees. We ask that each student register at least two weeks prior to the start of classes. Should the cost of a class be unaffordable, scholarships are available based on need.
